Say Play (Speech)
Our core speech program. When talking is the main concern, Say Play targets articulation, language and social communication through play.
Ask about Say Play →Lodestone Early Steps is our early intervention program for ages 2 to 6. If milestones feel late, words are few, or kindy still feels out of reach, you don't have to "wait and see". Playful sessions 2 to 3 times a week, by trained educators. No diagnosis required.
A child who could benefit from early support may often:
Early intervention simply means giving a young child the right support while the brain is developing fastest, rather than waiting for problems to grow. It might be speech that is slow to come, milestones arriving late, or a child who is nowhere near ready for the sitting, listening and routines that kindergarten expects. Ages 2 to 6 are when support does the most, with the least effort.
"Wait and see" is the advice many parents get, and it can cost precious time. Waiting rarely helps; the right input early almost always does. Early Steps is delivered by trained educators, and where a child needs clinical care we say so honestly and help you find it.
Every child's plan blends three tracks: communication, development and school readiness, weighted to what your child needs most. These are the areas we build.
First words, more words, and putting them together.
Turn-taking, sharing attention, playing alongside and with others.
Building focus span gently, without forcing stillness.
Fine and gross motor play: grip, drawing, balance, coordination.
Following simple steps, transitions without meltdowns.
Pre-writing, early numbers and letters, kindy confidence.
If the early years feel harder than they should, don't wait for a label. We can help.
Young children learn through play, so that is how we work: short, joyful sessions by trained educators, with parents coached along the way.
A screening shows where your child is across speech, play, motor skills and readiness. Clear report, no diagnosis required.
We blend the three tracks into one plan, weighted to your child, in groups of 4 or fewer.
2 to 3 sessions a week, 45 to 60 minutes, plus simple things to do at home so progress sticks.
Every 12 weeks we review milestones together and adjust the plan, honestly, including if clinical support is the right next step.
Depending on your child's age and needs, these Lodestone programs can support them too. Not sure which? We'll guide you on a free call.

Book a free call →No. Early Steps is developmental support delivered by trained educators, not a clinical or medical service. Where a child needs a speech-language therapist, occupational therapist or paediatrician, we say so honestly and, with your permission, coordinate with them.
No diagnosis is required. Many families join after a paediatrician or teacher said to keep an eye on things. We start with a screening to see where your child is, then build their plan from there.
