For families in Petaling Jaya

Is it laziness, or something inherent? Let's find out properly.

For Petaling Jaya families whose child is struggling with reading, numbers, speech, writing or focus: a targeted screening answers in one or two sessions what years of "wait and see" cannot. RM120 per screening area, plain-language report included, no diagnosis required.

For families in Petaling Jaya

Closer than you think, honest about the distance

Petaling Jaya has one of the highest concentrations of schools in Malaysia, national, private and international, and with that comes a familiar pattern: classrooms where a bright child is quietly falling behind and nobody can say exactly why. PJ families have plenty of tuition options, but tuition assumes the foundations are fine. When reading, numbers, speech or focus are the real issue, more drilling makes things worse, not better.

Our centre in Taipan, Subang Jaya is 20 to 30 minutes from most PJ neighbourhoods via the NPE or LDP, against school traffic rather than with it. Families from SS2, Damansara Jaya and Section 17 make the trip for one reason: a targeted screening that finally explains what is going on, and a plan built around how their child actually learns.

Serving SS2, Damansara Jaya, Bandar Utama's PJ side, Kelana Jaya's borders and Section 14 to 17 and surrounding neighbourhoods, in centre and online.
The targeted screening

We screen the area of concern

Based on what you or the school have observed, we screen the specific area at RM120 per area. Not a blanket test, and not a clinical diagnosis; a clear answer about whether an inherent challenge is present, in plain language.

01

Reading & dyslexia indicators

Decoding, fluency, spelling and the patterns that suggest dyslexia.

02

Numeracy & dyscalculia indicators

Number sense, operations and math anxiety versus inherent difficulty.

03

Writing & dysgraphia indicators

Handwriting, spelling and getting ideas onto paper.

04

Speech & language

Articulation, vocabulary and understanding for their age.

05

Attention & focus

Focus span, impulsivity and what sits behind classroom behaviour.

06

Developmental readiness

Where younger children stand across milestones and school readiness.

One or two sessions per area. Report included. Identification first, everything else after.

Common questions

What PJ families ask us

How far is the centre from Petaling Jaya?

20 to 30 minutes from most of PJ via the NPE or LDP. Our centre is at 1st Floor, 10, Jalan USJ 10/1, Taipan Business Centre, Subang Jaya. And after screening, eligible children can be supported online, so the drive never decides whether your child gets help.

What does the screening cost?

RM120 per screening area, report included. The area is chosen based on what you or the school have observed: reading, numbers, speech, writing, attention or developmental readiness. If a further area needs checking, we discuss it with you first.

Is this a clinical diagnosis?

No. Our screening identifies whether an inherent challenge appears to be present and where it sits, in plain language. Where formal clinical assessment is needed, the report says so honestly and points you in the right direction.

Can my child be supported online?

Eligible children can, after an in-person screening. Eligibility depends on age, the type of challenge and how your child engages online, and we will advise honestly rather than sell you sessions that will not work.

My child's school raised the concern. What now?

That is exactly how it should work; teachers notice first. Show them our For Schools page or simply book the screening yourself. With your permission we share a summary and classroom suggestions with the school afterwards.

Do we need a diagnosis to start?

No diagnosis is required for screening or for any of our programmes. Many families come to us precisely because they want to understand what is happening before pursuing anything formal.

Not sure where your child stands?

Start with the free 15-minute call.

Describe what you are seeing at home or what the school has said. We will suggest which area to screen first, or tell you honestly if screening is not what your child needs.
