Petaling Jaya has one of the highest concentrations of schools in Malaysia, national, private and international, and with that comes a familiar pattern: classrooms where a bright child is quietly falling behind and nobody can say exactly why. PJ families have plenty of tuition options, but tuition assumes the foundations are fine. When reading, numbers, speech or focus are the real issue, more drilling makes things worse, not better.
Our centre in Taipan, Subang Jaya is 20 to 30 minutes from most PJ neighbourhoods via the NPE or LDP, against school traffic rather than with it. Families from SS2, Damansara Jaya and Section 17 make the trip for one reason: a targeted screening that finally explains what is going on, and a plan built around how their child actually learns.
Based on what you or the school have observed, we screen the specific area at RM120 per area. Not a blanket test, and not a clinical diagnosis; a clear answer about whether an inherent challenge is present, in plain language.

Petaling Jaya has one of the highest concentrations of international and private schools in the country, and that changes the picture in two specific ways.
We are not a clinic and we cannot diagnose. If your child needs a formal assessment, here is the public route from Petaling Jaya, laid out plainly. It costs very little and it is the right first step for many families, whether or not you ever come to us.
For most of PJ that means Klinik Kesihatan Kelana Jaya. Ask specifically for a developmental or learning assessment referral, not a general check-up. Bring anything written from the school, and bring your own notes about what you see at home. Written observations carry more weight than a description given in the room.

If the wait is long, that is not a reason to do nothing. Support at home and at school can start immediately, and a term of targeted help is useful evidence to bring to the appointment.
Families from SS2, Damansara Jaya, Section 14 to 17 and the Kelana Jaya side reach us in 20 to 30 minutes via the NPE or LDP. Afternoon slots run against the school traffic rather than into it.

RM120 per screening area, with a plain-language report included. The referral or your own description tells us which area to look at, so most PJ families pay for one or two, not six. If a further area needs checking we discuss it with you first.
No, and the report says so plainly. We identify whether an inherent difficulty appears to be present and where it sits. If your child needs a formal diagnosis, the public route from PJ starts at Klinik Kesihatan Kelana Jaya, and we will say so rather than keep you here.
Eligible children can, after an in-person screening. Eligibility depends on age, the type of challenge and how your child engages online, and we will advise honestly rather than sell you sessions that will not work.
Bring whatever they wrote down. PJ schools vary enormously in how much detail they give, and a teacher's written observation is worth more than a verbal comment repeated second hand. With your permission we send a summary and classroom suggestions back to the school afterwards.
No diagnosis is required for screening or for any of our programmes. Many families come to us precisely because they want to understand what is happening before pursuing anything formal.
