Early Steps
Early intervention: speech and language foundations, developmental play and school readiness.
Explore →For Shah Alam families whose child is struggling with reading, numbers, speech, writing or focus: a targeted screening answers in one or two sessions what years of "wait and see" cannot. RM120 per screening area, plain-language report included, no diagnosis required.
The signs that bring Shah Alam families to us:
Shah Alam families often tell us the same story: the school says "lambat sikit", the tuition centre says "kena usaha lagi", and two years pass with nobody actually checking whether an inherent challenge is behind it. Shah Alam has excellent schools, but learning differences do not care how good the school is; they need to be identified before they can be supported.
From most of Shah Alam, our Taipan centre is 20 to 25 minutes via the Federal Highway or KESAS. A targeted screening takes one or two sessions at RM120 per area, and for families further out or juggling shift schedules, eligible children can be supported online after screening.
Based on what you or the school have observed, we screen the specific area at RM120 per area. Not a blanket test, and not a clinical diagnosis; a clear answer about whether an inherent challenge is present, in plain language.
Decoding, fluency, spelling and the patterns that suggest dyslexia.
Number sense, operations and math anxiety versus inherent difficulty.
Handwriting, spelling and getting ideas onto paper.
Articulation, vocabulary and understanding for their age.
Focus span, impulsivity and what sits behind classroom behaviour.
Where younger children stand across milestones and school readiness.
One or two sessions per area. Report included. Identification first, everything else after.
A free 15-minute call or WhatsApp. You describe what is happening; we suggest which area to screen first.
One or two sessions at our Taipan centre, RM120 per area. Your child experiences it as puzzles and games, not a test.
A plain-language report and a sit-down conversation: what we found, what it means, and honest next steps.
Where support is needed: small-group or 1-on-1 sessions in centre, or online for eligible children. We coordinate with your child's school with your permission.
Only what the screening points to, never a bundle. In centre at Taipan, or online for eligible children.

For Schools & Institutions →Shah Alam is the longest of the three journeys to us, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. There is a rail option, and for many families the drive is simpler.
Shah Alam is more national-school and more Bahasa-dominant than PJ or Puchong, and that shapes how difficulties surface.
We are not a clinic and we cannot diagnose. If your child needs a formal assessment, here is the public route from Shah Alam, written plainly. It costs very little and for many families it is the sensible first step, whether or not they ever come to us.
Any Klinik Kesihatan in the Shah Alam district can start the referral. Ask specifically for a developmental or learning assessment referral, not a general check-up. Bring the school's written comments and your own notes from home, because written observations carry further than a description given on the day.
Hospital Shah Alam runs a Jabatan Pediatrik covering newborn to age 12, and serves as the reference hospital for Shah Alam, Subang and Puchong.
If the wait is long, start anyway. Support at home and with the school can begin immediately, and a term of targeted help is genuinely useful evidence for the specialist.
Families from Section 7, Section 13, Setia Alam and the Kota Kemuning side reach us in about 25 to 35 minutes via the Federal Highway or KESAS, depending on which end of Shah Alam you start from.
Details of government facilities change. Please confirm opening hours and services with the clinic before travelling.
20 to 25 minutes via the Federal Highway or KESAS. Our centre is at 1st Floor, 10, Jalan USJ 10/1, Taipan Business Centre, Subang Jaya. And after screening, eligible children can be supported online, so the drive never decides whether your child gets help.
RM120 per screening area, with the report included. We screen the specific area of concern, so most Shah Alam families pay for one or two rather than a full battery. Anything beyond that is agreed with you first.
No. The report states that directly. We establish whether an inherent difficulty appears to be present and where. For a formal diagnosis, Shah Alam referrals commonly go to the paediatric department at Hospital Shah Alam, and we will say so when that is what your child needs.
Eligible children can, after an in-person screening. Eligibility depends on age, the type of challenge and how your child engages online, and we will advise honestly rather than sell you sessions that will not work.
Get it in writing first. Shah Alam schools differ a great deal in how they document concerns, and a written note from the teacher is far more useful to a specialist than a recollection. With your permission we send a summary and classroom suggestions back afterwards.
No diagnosis is required for screening or for any of our programmes. Many families come to us precisely because they want to understand what is happening before pursuing anything formal.
Describe what you are seeing at home or what the school has said. We will suggest which area to screen first, or tell you honestly if screening is not what your child needs.
Tell us a little about your child and we'll respond within one business day with a suggested next step. Free, no-obligation.
